Z-clamp Basic stainless steel 30x3mm for cross connection, mounting on rail 40×40, attachment preferably downwards, but also upwards possible.
Description
Technical details and application:
The Z-clamp is used to connect two profiles both vertically and horizontally. We recommend using an M10 screw in the lower channel of the upper profile while the lower profile is clamped from below, which means that no lever is applied to the upper profile. The screw can be screwed either with a hammer head screw (which can be screwed in at any point) or a hexagon screw DIN 933 M10x25 (which is threaded laterally into the profile).
For the screw connection in the lower profile and the clamping on the upper profile, there are various options for using different components:
Slotted Block + 8×14 screw (inexpensive, but only available in full packaging unit)
Slotted block + 8×16 screw + washer 9021
Slotted screw 8×18 + 8 lock nut (fast, but slightly more expensive)
Hammer head screw 28/15 for insertion + 8 lock nut (can be completely pre-assembled and inserted)
When mounting on the lower profile and clamping on the upper profile, it is important to note that the mounting in the direction of the cross rail is alternated to the left and right of the profile so as not to create a leverage effect. Also with the second cross rail per module, the assembly should always be staggered to the other rail. We recommend this assembly from above only from at least 3 clamps per profile in the direction of the cross rail to avoid leverage effects.
