Technical details and application:
The U-connector acts as a standard connector for our 40 40 profiles similar to the push-in connector. It can also be retrofitted even if the profiles are already fixed on the roof, as it is pushed in from the outside. Due to its fit to the grooves in our profiles, the connector clicks in and stays securely fixed by itself without slipping out. Nevertheless, we recommend the use of four drill screws for long-term stability.
In theory, the U-connector also fits our 80 40 profiles, but it should only be used as a connecting element if the load at the connection point is low. Otherwise, we recommend either our PR24 plug-in connector or the four-hole screw connector for the 80 40 profiles.
