Longitudinal connector for PV mounting rails
VAT is not applicable & plus shipping costs
The longitudinal connector is used to extend the mounting rails when creating a substructure of photovoltaic systems on flat and sloping roofs.
Properties
Made of high-quality aluminium for high resistance to corrosion, weather and external influences
Good mechanical strength, impact resistance
Description
Technical details and application:
The longitudinal connector mounts photovoltaic systems on flat and sloping roofs. It connects 40x40mm aluminium mounting rails with two M10 screw holes.
The mounting of the longitudinal connector varies depending on the mounting rail. Either with an M10 hex screw or an M10 hammer head screw and M10 collar nut with locking teeth.
When using a hammer head screw, it is inserted into the lower profile chamber (groove), turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise and guided through the longitudinal connector. Then the collar nut is attached and tightened.
The longitudinal connector is made of robust, corrosion-resistant aluminium. It is resistant to weather and external influences, which ensures maximum stability for the photovoltaic system.
Technical data (longitudinal connectors for PV mounting rails):

Weight 0.12kg
Application (longitudinal connectors for PV mounting rails):
Specific fasteners are required for a PV system, depending on the type of roof and mounting system. Examples are floor screws with adapter plate for corrugated sheet or fibre cement roofs, fastening hooks for beaver tail or bitumen roofs and fixing clamps for sheet metal roofs with fold or mounting frames for flat roofs.
The mounting rail is inserted into the lower groove with the hammer head screw, turned 90 degrees counter-clockwise and tightened with adapter plate and collar nut with locking teeth.
The solar modules are fixed with end clamps at the beginning and end of a module series and fastened with middle clamps between the modules on the rail construction. The slot is inserted into the upper groove of the mounting profile and the module clamp is fixed in the slot with a cylinder head screw and spring ring.
The assembly should be carried out only by qualified professionals, especially Arbei
