Description
Technical details and application:
Head screws, sometimes called wood screws, are used to securely attach roof hooks to the rafters. Typically, the usual lengths of these screws range from 80 to 120 mm. However, installation of damper materials may require longer head screws.
The appropriate length of the plate head screws is determined by the distance from the contact surface, that is to the base plate, to the rafters plus the screw-in depth in the rafters (at least 70 mm).
Our Disc head screws are equipped with a cutting notch and a Torx 40 screw head.
Double-threaded plate head screws are particularly suitable for top insulation, as they can effectively maintain the distance between the rafters and the counter bar without squeezing the top insulation.
