Description
Technical details and application:
The push-in connector is the “standard” for our profile rail connections. It is compressed in the middle, so it does not disappear completely in the profile. The assembly is done by inserting it into the first profile and then pushing it powerfully onto the second profile. For the 40 40 profile we recommend using two connectors per connection (except for profile 9664-Profiness15O where only one is needed).
It is possible to screw the 40 40 connectors additionally with drill screws from the outside, however this is not mandatory if the profile to be connected is joined in the middle at a push.
Since only one connector can be used for the Profiness15O profile, we recommend the additional fixing with two drill screws (5.5×38 mm).
For 80 40 and 40 20 profiles only one connector per connection point is required. However, it is recommended to screw in the insertion connectors of the 80 40 and 40 20 profiles additionally from the outside with thin-plate drilling screws (6.3×25 or 5.5×25 DIN 7504) to prevent slippage.
