The manufacturer Huawei presents the SUN2000 12 and 15KTL-M5, a state-of-the-art, compact 3-phase string inverter. This has a nominal power of 12000 and 15000 watts and is ideal for solar roof installations and ground power plants. Due to its water protection class IP65, it can also be used outside buildings.
The inverter is equipped with two integrated MPP trackers, which can independently control up to two strings. This allows you to successfully perform more complex installation tasks that require 4 strings.
With the built-in WiFi module, monitoring and control of power generation and storage can be done conveniently over the internet via computer or smartphone app. The device also has an RS485 interface for Smart Power Sensor and Smart Logger, as well as optionally a Huawei Smart Dongle 4G for communication over the mobile network or a Huawei Smart Dongle WLAN FE for communication via LAN cable.
The inverter is equipped with numerous protection functions, including AC and DC type II surge protection, DC load disconnect switch, island network detection, AC overcurrent protection, AC short-circuit protection, DC reverse polarity protection, fault current monitoring, Arc detection and inputs for circular control receiver.
The unit is very quiet and has a natural convection cooling without fan, which minimizes noise. In operation, it works with a noise level of only 29dB.
